Pivot Table, Splice, and Chart

Bin and Histogram

Formatting our data to a table is helpful when we will be creating a pivot table. It creates a dynamic data source, helps us organize data through filtering, and has automatic expansion of ranges. 

A pivot table was used to summarize data by flower name and revenue. A splicer provides a friendlier interface than drop down filters. A bar chart provides a visual comparison of revenue by flower.  

Bins will summarize continuous data to visualize frequency distributions. This process makes it easier to find outliers, skewness, and clustering.
